I’m absolutely thrilled that Heather Anne Home Fragrance has been selected as a 2026 Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday (#SBS) Winner!

Being chosen as one of Theo Paphitis’ winners is a huge milestone for my little Cumbrian business — and one I’m incredibly proud of.

What is #SBS?

Small Business Sunday (#SBS) is a UK small-business network created by retail entrepreneur and former Dragons’ Den star Theo Paphitis.

Each week, Theo selects six businesses to become #SBS Winners and welcomes them into the wider #SBS community.

Today, #SBS has grown into a network of more than 4,500 small businesses across the UK, with opportunities for networking, publicity, learning and collaboration.

So… how did Heather Anne win?

Heather Anne Home Fragrance has been built over more than a decade from a small hobby into the growing independent brand it is today.

I still hand make every product myself here in Cumbria, alongside my full-time career.

But for me, Heather Anne has never just been about making something that smells nice.

I create fragrances around memory, emotion and place — scents inspired by people I love, places that mean something to me, and moments I want to capture.

Some of my customers have told me my fragrances have taken them back to childhood, reminded them of someone they've lost, or transported them straight back to a favourite place.

From Gwen’s Garden, inspired by my Nana, to my Alderney collection, created from the feeling of my favourite place on earth, every scent has a story.

I don’t just want my scents to make your home smell beautiful. I want them to make you feel something. 💜
